The redesigned iLearning Global website has a plethora of amazing features accessible by members. This look at will examine merely some of the features and how they can assist you, Remember that you will need to log in to be able to access any of the features. Valuable Content Archives You can retrieve old posts on the Content Archives tab. This includes the last 50 posts that were made, as well as the different categories and sub-categories to make it easier for you to obtain the information you need. You also have the monthly search option. The Recent Content sidebar gives you the newest five posts so that you can access the freshest content. Easy Search The Search form can be found at the top and in the side bar. It allows you to search by specific terms, and you find content related to the topic in which you are most interested. You can see the newest six content videos that have been posted any time you conduct a search. By selecting "previous" you will be able to see additional posted videos. Home Page The Home Page has so much available that it is a really good place to start when you visit the website. It will include new featured videos each week. Daily featured content and videos on various topics are also on the Home Page. You will see the newest video as well as two others when you select a topic of interest. The Home Page allows you to see recent contributors and added content when you search for a specific topic. The drop down bar of the Content Categories tab helps you find videos on that subject easily and quickly. The Category Navigation bar at the top of the Home Page allows you to find some of the most popularly accessed content on the site. When you scroll over a category, all of the subcategories will appear as a drop down menu. When you scroll over the subcategories you will get additional subcategories making it even easier and quicker to find precisely what you need. Again, this will show you the most recent videos that have been posted. There is a caption option included in the navigation bar for anyone who may have a hearing impairment or do not speak English as a first language. Choosing this feature will allow you to see all of the videos that have captions in that language. Click on CC as the video starts, choose the caption language you would like, and continue to watch the video. Captions are placed in sync with the speaker to add to ease of viewing. Ranking Content On the Content page, you will have the ability to give the video a rating, a thumbs up/thumbs down, related posts, and additional content by that speaker/author. What this does is allow you to create your own guided path to make the content and site even more efficient to use.
