ILearning Global has a new, redesigned website with a plethora of innovative and amazing features, all available to its members. This look at will examine merely some of the features and how they can assist you, You must log in to iLearning Global before you can access these features as this is a member's only site. Valuable Content Archives The Content Archives tab is where you can locate old posts. The various categories and subcategories including the last 50 posts will help you find the information you need. You also have the monthly search option. The Recent Content sidebar shows you the newest five posts so that you can access the freshest content. Helpful Support The Support tab allows you to place a request for support. This tab will also give you assistance with your problems or questions you have with the site. Contribute Your Insight The Contribute tab gives members a way to become involved in the site and get help develop it. This allows you to become an integral part of the iLearning Global community. Easy Search The Search form can be found at the top and in the side bar. It allows you to search by specific terms, and you find content related to the topic in which you are most interested. At the time you do a search, the newest six content videos posted will be shown. You can also select "previous" to see additional videos that have been posted. Home Page A fantastic starting place is the Home Page when you visit the website. It will include new featured videos weekly. Daily featured content and videos on various topics are also on the Home Page. You will see the newest video as well as two others when you select a topic of interest. The Home Page allows you to see recent contributors and additional content when you search for a specific topic. The Content Categories drop down bar allows you to find the videos of that category easily and quickly. The Category Navigation bar which is located at the top of the Home Page shows you the most popular and accessed content of the entire site. The subcategories will appear as a drop down menu when you scroll over a category. When you scroll over the subcategories you will get additional subcategories making it even quicker and easier to find exactly what you want. The most recently posted videos will be shown to you here, too. There is a caption option included in the navigation bar for anyone who may have a hearing impairment or do not speak English as a first language. Choosing this feature will allow you to see all of the videos that have captions in that language. When the video starts, click on CC and choose the caption language you want. Captions are syncronized with the speaker for added ease in viewing. Ranking Content You will be able to rate videos with a thumbs up or thumbs down on the Content page as well as related posts and additional content by that author or speaker. What this does is allow you to create your own guided path to make the content and site even more efficient to use.
